Project Manager Hired
Rajiv Kaushik has been hired by MIT to become the Project Manager for Kuali Student. Rajiv starts January. Welcome Rajiv!
Another Helping of Rice
KS is helping to modify the Rice code base this month. Scott Gibson is managing the effort and expects to be finished by Christmas.
Maryland has built a prototype to help illustrate workflow and learning unit concepts. Access the prototype at http://kuali.umd.edu/lum/ (source code available in KS svn).

An R1 dashboard page is being created to serve as a convenient place to access the latest Release 1 plans and progress. See https://test.kuali.org/confluence/x/LAGYBg.

Dave Alderson (UMCP) is being replaced by Bill Spann on the Steering Committee member. Dave has been assigned other activities at Maryland.
Heather Johnson (UBC) has moved from Services to Development.
Farooq Sadiq (UArizona) has assumed responsibility for the infrastructure shared by all the Kuali projects, including Confluence and Jira. He’ll be working with KS Config Manager Scott Gibson to address performance issues and new feature requests.
