Collaboration Tools For KS Developers Only

A KS developers collaboration site is now available in the Kuali Sakai. This site offers a variety of collaboration tools, including a discussion forum, chat room, blog, polls and more.

In setting up the new KS collaboration site, please note that the distribution e-mail for developers has changed and can be seen on the site. Some notes about using the collaboration site:

Direct links and permissions for tab on main page
You may want to adjust your permissions to ensure the KS development site is among those in the top quicklinks tabs of the Kuali collaboration main page. You can do this by going to "Preferences" in the left navigation of the home page. Here you can select the quicklinks tabs you would like to have displayed.

More likely, KS developers will just want to add the site to your bookmarks, and it will take you directly to the group collaboration site after login. Click here for direct link.

Discussion forum profile and preferences
Once you have entered the KS Development site, please being by going to the Discussion Forum and completing your profile. After clicking on the "My Profile" button at the top, you will be able to add user information and a signature. Most importantly, you can set your e-mail preference. At least in the early going, it is recommended that developers set these preference to "Yes" to "send e-mail notification when new topics are posted" and "send e-mail when a private message is sent." These can be adjusted if communications become excessive.

Developers: Contact Scott Shepherd if there are any issues with the site or you are unable to login.
